Pharmacovigilance (PhV) is defined as the science and activities relating to the detection, assessment, understanding, and prevention of adverse effects or any other drug-related problem. WHO established its Programme for International Drug Monitoring in response to the thalidomide disaster detected in 1961.

EMA launched the new EudraVigilance system for reporting and analysing suspected adverse reactions in 2017. The PhV Day can help Companies to achieve the effective safety system required by the laws, with the aim of applying GVP guidance effectively to maximise their application to address Signal Detection requirements.

The aims of PhV are to enhance patient care and safety in relation to the use of medicines; and to support public health programs by providing reliable, balanced information for the effective assessment of the risk-benefit profile of medicines.

Yesterday, today and in the future: “Safety first”! PhV is at the center of the health ecosystem, made up of alliances, partnerships and business cross-contaminations. Therefore, our focus during PhV conference is on the importance of collaboration and communication at local, regional and international levels, to ensure PhV delivers its full benefits.

The world of medicines and device safety is rapidly changing. The role of patients is more important than ever. PhV Day conferences promise to be a lively exchange of ideas to discuss the hot topics of today and tomorrow, share learnings and explore solutions.

The PhV Day is organised and managed by LS Academy according to the code of good conduct, to ensure the higher scientific quality of contents. All participants (attendees, speakers, moderators) are asked not to promote any product or service. Only sponsors can promote their commercial activities and products in one-to-one and/or at booth meetings. 

Furthermore, at the end of thePhV Day, all participants are asked to provide their feedback through ad-hoc questionnaires. The answers are carefully revised and analysed by LS Academy together with speakers, moderators and sponsors to ensure the satisfaction of those that will attend future PhV Days.

Confirmation of event admission will be given on receipt of payment. Invoice will be sent following receipt of payment. EasyB reserves the right to refuse late registrations or additional registrations above the maximum accepted number of participants or registrations of roles that are not included in the target of the event.

Please note that refunds (50% refund of the registration fee) will only be given if cancellation is received at least four weeks before the event date. Cancellations will only be valid if made in writing. Transfer of registrations (or name changes) are allowed for free and should be made in writing within 7 days prior to the event. EasyB reserves the right to postpone or cancel an event, to change the location of an event or to alter the advertised speakers for an event, to change its performance from residential to webinar/online. EasyB is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of substitution, alteration, postponement or cancellation of an event due to causes beyond its control including without limitation, acts of God, natural disasters, sabotage, accident, trade of industrial disputes, terrorism, hostilities, epidemics, pandemics, and / or authorities’restrictions (so-called factum principis).
